If your contract is up with Sprint, just take it into another phone company and sign up with them. My daughter uses Nextel with her Blackberry, and others in her office use Verizon.

Yes. Sprint just launched the 7130e and Nextel (now Sprint) has the blackberry also. As far as moving, if you have a contract with Sprint I think there is a $200 early termination fee to cancel your contract. Also, you can’t just take your phone from one provider to another. First, it has to work on the same type of network (Sprint, Verizon, US Cellular, Alltel are all CDMA Nextel is IDEN and Cingular, T-Mobile are GSM). Second, the phone has to be unlocked so that means your old carrier is going to have to give you the unlock code for your old phone. And last, the new carrier will have to be able and willing to actually load their stuff on your old phone.
