How to change sprint pcs service to another phone?

Hello everyone, ok i have a sprint pcs phone and i am going to go snow boarding this weekend. Is there anyway that i can chage my service from one phone to another with out calling them up and spending hours on the phone to do a simple task? If anyone has and answere for me i would greatly need it. I really dont have time to spend hours on the phone with the sprint people. Thank you everyone.

Um, unfortunately no unless you have a Sprint phone with a sim card. Most Sprint phones don’t have them so you have call them up and switch the phones through them. Just dont do their stupid surveys and hang up when they’re done but make sure they’re done first to save some time instead of hearing their bull “so how did you like your service today”crap. It supposed to take 4 hours for the switch but then mine took only 2 hours.

There are two ways: 1) Through the phone 2) in the store.
It’s best to go into the store to do it. Just let them know that you need to do an ESN swap. The usual time for the new phone to be activated is 10 minutes to 4 hours. There’s no way to do it yourself since the new phone ID needs to be registered under the system to work.
If your only way to do it is through customer service, call them early in the morning.
